Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a stunning view of the star attraction just steps away from my room, although a brief outdoor walk from the reception without car access. The room had a very noisy fan from the remote air conditioning that couldn't be turned off, slightly disrupting the experience.
The hotel's location near the Art Gallery and Town Square provides easy access to restaurants and stores, but the rooms are overpriced with limited amenities. The service from Desert Gardens staff was exceptional, although they struggled during peak arrival times. Dining options were varied, but the prices were steep, especially considering the already high cost per night.
I stayed at the hotel primarily to visit Uluru & Kata Tjuta, and I must say the location was absolutely stunning and well worth the visit. The rooms were under refurbishment but had a nice décor and all the amenities we needed, including some USB ports which were useful to charge our phones. The service was initially a bit rocky, with a long line of people waiting to be seated, but the staff turned out to be really friendly and hospitable. The dining experience was a little lacking and overpriced for a simple breakfast, but the facilities were great and added value to my stay.
My stay at the Desert Gardens hotel was delightful! The room I stayed in, room 107, was very nice and comfortable. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making my experience even better. The location was perfect, with everything within walking distance. However, the dining options were a bit limited, and the room could use some updating.
The hotel offers comfortable rooms with basic necessities on the ground floor, worth around $180-200. The service is exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff willing to assist with luggage and provide great food and wine options. The location is fantastic, close to key attractions within Yalara Resort. Dining might be overpriced, but the experience can be memorable. Overall, a worthwhile stay with some minor downsides.
The hotel had a nice décor and all the amenities we needed, including some USB ports which were useful to charge our phones. The room had a great rock view and was only three steps away from the furthest boundary of the property to the car park. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay overall.
The hotel was a mixed bag – the rooms, though nice once inside, were a hassle to reach from reception in the scorching heat. The comfortable rooms with plenty of hot water in the shower were a big plus, but our check-in experience was delayed beyond the 3 pm time. The service was outstanding with friendly and helpful staff offering great suggestions on maximizing our stay and assisting with recommendations. The location was fantastic, especially with good shuttle services and surprises like a chilled bottle of wine on a special occasion. The dining experience was varied and satisfying, with discounts available through pre-ordering. The facilities overall were good, enhancing our stay.
Upon arrival, we faced some delay in getting a clean room, which pushed us beyond the promised check-in time, a bit frustrating. However, the freshly made lemonade from the bar is a must-try. The room we finally received was not well-prepared, leading to further inconvenience as it hadn't been cleaned for days and we had to wait. I recommend the lemonade though!
The hotel has a prime location, ideal for exploring the surroundings and enjoying breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. While the rooms were comfortable and spacious, some signs of aging were noticeable. The service was outstanding with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Dining options were varied, though some improvements could be made. The facilities were well-kept, adding to the overall positive experience.
My stay at the Desert Gardens Resort section of Voyagers was pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, featuring air conditioning and a small terrace/patio where I could sit outside. However, I found them to be a bit expensive for what they offered, and the cleanliness was borderline, with some hairs in the bathroom sink. The service was a mix of excellence upon arrival for the room key but a bit cold and unhelpful in the crowded foyer with a rude incident of a long line waiting to be seated. The location was beautiful with a variety of on-site amenities, but the presence of flies when getting food was a downside. The dining experience, despite a fairly steep room price, was great, with delicious meals and a discount for pre-ordering. The facilities were adequate but could have been nicer for the price.
